is for Life Community Grant Scheme -
T3SC Meet the Funder Event
From April 2008 the PCT will be introducing a new scheme 'Health is for
Life Community Grants' that will fund new projects that have a health
focus in Tameside and Glossop. Grants up to £5,000 are available for a
range of activities that have a clear link to health.

Dormant Bank And Building Society Accounts
Bill
The Dormant Bank And Building Society Accounts Bill has been introduced
in the House of Lords. Conservative and Liberal Democrat Lords have put
forward an amendment that some of the estimated £350m of unclaimed funds
from banks and building societies should be used for a Social Investment
Bank, which would fund voluntary groups, as well as the proposed funding
of youth facilities. The Bill can be downloaded from the
website.
