Renewing National Concessionary Travel Passes

The majority of the 420,000 National Concessionary Travel Passes issued by Transport for Greater Manchester will start to expire in the 12 months from this April. Letters will be sent to pass holders within six weeks of their current pass expiring, but not before this, with the first letters being sent out from mid-February. They will be sent directly to the people whose pass is due to expire and before the six week deadline there is no need to take any other action.

Any pass holders who have changed address in the last five years should contact the authority who issued their travel pass (note that this may not be the number on the back of the pass holder’s card). This will ensure they receive the letter being sent out.

Transport for Greater Manchester is working closely with bus operators and other stakeholders to ensure that there is minimum disruption to pass holders as a result of this process. If you would like to speak to someone about the process for renewing passes, Tel: 0161 244 1028 Website: www.tfgm.com
